Mandatory Maintenance!!
Preventative maintenance is pivotal to keeping your home in working condition, and extending the life span of your home itself and everything inside. This month is an extremely important month for your home. It's time to get ready for winter!! Even here in the Pacific Northwest it gets cold! So, remove ALL hoses from exterior faucets (hose bibs) and leave them off. Each faucet should have a faucet cover. Even if you have a frost-free faucet, if it wasn't installed perfectly it can still have freezing water inside and cause substantial damage.
It's also a great time to check your smoke detectors and weather stripping. For my amazing residents who are reading this, please let me know if you need help addressing any of these things. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!
